So, here's the first blog of the year -wahoo!!(even though it's in December). We just had Christmas the other day. Perry and Gloria came up from Yakima, and Auntie Amelia and Janae came up from school. It was wonderful to have everyone here together, and it was especially fun to watch Jeyza (4), Sammy (21 months) and Scarlet (10 months) play together. Grandpa got Sammy a mini Fire and Rescue Jeep that is fit for a king (or the grandson of a fire chief for that matter). We also had a grand Christmas Eve party where we had the traditional sock exchange and tons of friends and family over. Rex, Mike, Kim and Steve also came up and we enjoyed getting to see them. Kim and Steve also got to participate in the building of roads for Sammy's car in all of the snow that's here. Jeyza also was an amazing teacher to Sammy as he taught him to drive. Look out for when he turns sixteen!! Overall, we had a wonderful Christmas together and are looking forward to another wonderful year. Happy Holidays!!
